Description
Nose : Simple and attractive – you want to taste it. Deep, rich fruit – ripe plums, tinned pears, tinned mandarin oranges after a while. Soft vanilla fudge. With water, still fruity but more acidic. A trace of caramelised brown sugar. Digestive biscuits.
Palate : Pleasant to drink straight – sweet, with deeper almond notes, hints of sherry and light oak, some malty flavours. With a little water (not too much) still sweet and mouth-filling; some digestive biscuits.
Finish : Medium length. Warm and smooth.
