Amrut distillery is very pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Madeira Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky’ – the first time ever for an Indian distillery to produce a Madeira finish Single Malt.
To create this masterpiece, the team at Amrut Distilleries travelled to the Portuguese Madeira Islands, off the coast of Africa, to handpick barrels which had aged the right type of Madeira to complement Amrut’s signature characters.
NOSE : Almond (perhaps marzipan) wrapped up in toffee, coconut shavings and complemented by vanilla pods and golden syrup
TASTE : Almond cake, sweet orange, toffee with a fruity tease, velvety.
FINISH : Citrus finish with a hint of toffee and a refreshing end
