A no age statement Glengoyne, released as part of the Spirit of Oak collection. After a maturation in European and American oak, the Highland single malt was treated to a finish in Pedro Ximénez casks.
Nose: Dried apricot, caramelised nuts, zesty lemon sweeties, milk chocolate and vanilla fudge.
Finish: Honeyed fruits, fresh grapes, caramelised brown sugar, lemon zest, warming pepper and ginger spice.
Comments: More honey, with citrus, more milk chocolate and a pinch more white pepper.
