Hinch Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey

700 ml, 43% abv, Ireland (County Down)

A peated Irish Whiskey bottled under the newly created Hinch distillerys label. Sweet tar and a smoky, woodish nose with immediate strong peat flavours on the palate. Lingering and nuanced fruit undertones survive the peat storm. A hint of liquorice comes through on the palate as the peat gently mellows. Punchy and mouth coating.

The new Hinch Distillery set in the old Killaney Estate in Northern Ireland has now commenced distilling. Like many new distilleries, Hinch have released expressions from their range sourced from other distilleries, to give an idea of what to expect from their own distilling.
