Created from a selected small batch of hand selected casks at the Pulteney distillery. Aged in first fill American oak bourbon barrels selected by Malcolm Waring, distillery manager. The no age statement whisky was bottled in 2017 at 46% abv.
AROMA : Elegant and energetic with an intense melting toffee sweetness and refreshing, spicy overtones. Creamy vanilla and oily lemon follow, finessed by a fragrant, fresh note of the sea air.
TASTE : Firm and intense. Flavours of honey and crème brûlée are contrasted by crisp notes of citrus, coconut and green apples. The complexity builds on the palate and culminates in a spicy, fizzing finish of caramel and freshly ground spices.
