The Tyrconnell 15 year old Madeira Finish builds on the high reputation of it’s sister bottling at 10 years old which is a firm favourite amongst the Kilbeggan Distillery portfolio. This expression has raised the bar even higher and delivers a polished and rich flavour experience. Finished in ex-Madeira casks, creating a fruity, spicy character with aromas of white grapes, peaches, toast with honey, waffles, Nutella and sweet pastries on the nose.
NOSE : Aromas of white grapes, peach, toast with honey, caramel waffles, nutella and Viennese whirls.
PALATE : Soft, juicy and fruity on initial tasting with warmer flavours developing slowly. Peach and other stone fruits with a subtle note of milky coffee, caramel, honey, warm toast, red apples and raisins. The finish is surprisingly fresh and lively but very long.
