This is a Special Limited Edition, bottled specially for Alba Whisky at 60% abv. This Amrut single malt was matured in Bangalore in a Bourbon cask for 5 years and then moved to an ex Rye Whisky cask for a further 2 years.
Cask 2992 was filled in August 2011, and bottled in September 2018 at 60% abv producing 120 bottles.

Enticing Maple Syrup nose, gentle pepper and even some leather.
Luscious and viscous chewy mouth feel. Oily at first but dries quickly. Then Turkish Delight or perhaps marmalade. A little zesty and spicy. A mouth coating flavour that lasts and lasts.
The finish is toffee, candied orange with a hint of marzipan.
